Local Government bodies need management
systems too of course, and an important aspect of this is the
control of their sub-contractors.
Our involvement came about from networking
(amazing how many people you know after conducting >2000 management
system audits) and in this case AardNet was approached to
see if we could bring our auditing skills into a parks and
reserves contract.
We soon identified that the project did
not clearly lend itself towards a systematic auditing
approach and we helped design a more objective style that
has since been developed into a database reporting tool
that:
The growth of the auditing
responsibilities led AardNet into committing further
resources into the development and enhancement of the
database. This has clearly had benefits for council,
the contractor and the auditor alike.
The more audits we conduct the more
digital photographs we acquire. Consequently we gave
some serious thought to streamlining the digital photograph
transfer process.
Therefore we developed a password
protected area within this web site so that clients can
access thumbnails of the photographs used to capture passes
and failures during an audit of their contract.
Clients are advised separately how to gain access to their
photographs.

AardNet has developed a demonstration
version of the database that clearly shows the benefits
available from well laid out reports and information.
Should you wish to have a look at the
programme and some "dummy" reports then please
